Great Britain will not make public the names of persons declared non grata this week, but confirms that some Albanians are on the list.
But unlike the U.S. State Department, which makes public the names of persons for whom it undertakes sanctions, declaring them non grata, the United Kingdom has decided not to do so.
"The United Kingdom will not publish the names of persons, or details on these actions we will take for legal reasons," British Ambassador to Tirana Alastary King-Smith said in an interview for the Klan.
"This week, he said, we have also taken some action on the issue of emigration for some Albanian persons who have links to the world of crime and corruption".
In the same interview, the British Ambassador spoke with reservations about the Government's initiative for fiscal amnesty, which he said could be used to launder organised crime money.
