Former Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, has commented on the transfer of the Secretary General of the Socialist Party, Blendi Klosi, as the regional leader in Dibër and the assignment of the Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu, to the city of Vlora for the organization of the May 11 elections in the structures of the Socialist Party. 

Berisha, in a press conference, stated that the transfer of Blendi Klosi was sent to Dibër, according to him, "to be interned", while calling him a sick gambler and one of the biggest gamblers in the country.

"The dismissal or transfer of Blendi Klos has to do with the personality of Blendi Klos, who is already known, unmasked as one of Albania's biggest gamblers," said the leader of the Democratic Party.

Sali Berisha added that Blendi Klosi "is not accepted wherever he is taken, they despise him", while emphasizing that "Ashamed of the terrible debts he has incurred through gambling, sick as a gambler, they are now supposedly taking him to Peshkopi."

As for the Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu, Berisha said that "he is a co-author in serious drug crimes as port director."

The chief democrat called Minister Vengu a "soldier of the gangs and Lubi Balluku".

"He sent Vengu supposedly to compensate for Çuç's tarnished image. The truth is that Pirro Vengu's image is just as tarnished as Çuç's," he declared.
