Berisha wins the trial with Basha, the Court of Appeals: The DP officially takes over the Facebook page!

The several-year battle between Lulzim Basha and Sali Berisha for the leadership of the Democratic Party has ended with the former leader of the DP renouncing all symbols and logos of this political force.

Recently, the DP announced that it has also taken control of the Facebook page with 320 thousand followers, called "Euroatlantic Democrats", a page that was previously called the Democratic Party of Albania.

Announcement of the Court of Appeal:

“The Democratic Party of Albania announces the reactivation of our original Facebook page. Following the final decision of the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction of Tirana (Decision No. 723, dated June 11, 2024), which confirmed the legal rights over the name, seal and symbols of the Democratic Party of Albania, we inform you that the temporary name on the Facebook page, “Euroatlantic Democrats” will be changed to “Democratic Party of Albania” to reflect the legal name of the institution.”
