For the first time after the video scandal of Safet Gjic, the Municipal Council of the municipality of Kukës met today.
The Mayor of the City Council, Albert Muja, in his speech apologized and said that we must continue the work even though this already belongs to the past.
Fasli Gërmizi, the only councilor who opposed the speech of the council president, condemned Safet Gjic's shameful video and demanded that all councilors, including the current leaders of the Kukes municipality, resign.
During the council meeting, Granit Gjana was introduced to the task of exercising the function of the mayor of Kuka.
In the meantime, SP MP Pandeli Majko, who was the political leader of Safet Gjici's electoral campaign in the May 14 elections, was also at the meeting.
