Basha "wakes up" after Berisha's accusations: Right delays, but

The former chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, has reacted after the accusations made by his successor Sali Berisha regarding the McGonigal case.

In a statement to the media, Sali Berisha accused Basha of not reacting to the former FBI official's meetings with Prime Minister Rama, as he was advised by American ambassador Yuri Kim.

And while he remembers that the right delays but does not forget, Basha emphasizes in his reaction that with the USA at his side, Albania will become a land of opportunities for Albanians.

The current head of the Democrats earlier called on Basha to "be transparent and show who is pressuring him to shut up."

"The right delays, but does not forget! With the USA on its side, Albania can and will become the land of opportunities for Albanians", writes Basha on Twitter.
