Basha: We pray for the recovery of Anastas Janullatos

Lulzim Basha is among the first Albanian politicians to react publicly by wishing Archbishop Anastasios Janullatos a speedy recovery.

The leader of the Euro-Atlantic Democrats has expressed his support and prayers for the health of Archbishop Anastasios. In a Facebook post, Basha wishes the Archbishop a speedy and full recovery.

"In these difficult moments for the health of Archbishop Anastasios Janullatos, I join the prayers of the faithful for his speedy and complete recovery," Basha writes.

Janullatos is in critical condition in the intensive care unit of an Athens hospital, where he underwent surgery today to stop internal bleeding.

Greek doctors have stated that the next 48 hours will be critical for him.
