Bardhi: Edi Rama admitted that he is a party to Belinda Balluku's trial

The head of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has responded to Prime Minister Edi Rama regarding the head of government's claims that the GJKKO decision to suspend Belinda Balluku from office is - according to him - illegal.

Bardhi says that Rama attacked the opposition in his speech, but did not mention at any time that no opinion of the Venice Commission or decision of the Strasbourg Court states that a minister cannot be suspended from office.

According to Bardhi, Edi Rama admitted that he is a party to Belinda Balluku's trial, just as he is a party to the Llogara Tunnel corruption affair.

Bardhi's full reaction:

Edi Rama spoke for 7 minutes and 38 seconds, in a strained attempt to justify the unprecedented defense of defendant Belinda Balluku, who is holding her hostage in joint corruption cases.

But, while Albanians were waiting today for him to tell them which opinion of the Venice Commission or decision of the Strasbourg Court stated that the minister could not be suspended from duty, as he announced yesterday on the podcast "Speaking to Myself", he launched into accusations and insults against the opposition that dismantled his short-sighted lies about "Venice" and "Strasbourg", which in fact said the exact opposite of what he had declared with the pride of an uneducated, illiterate and hostage person.

The novelty of speaking alone was that Edi Rama admitted that he is a party to Belinda Balluku's trial, just as he is a party to the Llogara Tunnel corruption case. And in this sense, Edi Rama is right that the SPAK prosecutor and the GJKKO judge should call him next time as a party to corruption alongside the defendant Belinda Balluku.
