Democratic Leader Sali Berisha has accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of the corruption that has engulfed the country.
Berisha emphasized in a press conference that, for the pressure that Rama put on the court regarding the Balluku scandal, charges should be filed against him.
"The Venice Commission, since it refers to it, does not have a single line of advice for ministers. But it foresees the measure of suspension to protect the investigation data and to warn of the same crime. For Edi Rama, only when he is convicted. But he is so incriminated, he has lost his mind. I say it again, "I call for criminal charges to be opened for the pressure he put on the judge" , said Berisha.
Berisha stressed again today that Belinda Balluku should have been arrested as she is destroying evidence.
"The court should have had no other choice but to arrest Balluk. She continues to destroy evidence even now. She should have been arrested and her offices should have been seized, she should have gone somewhere else ," Berisha said.
