Interior Minister Taulant Balla has closely followed the situation created by the fire that has engulfed the peshtan pine hills.

Firefighters have been working on extinguishing the fire for two days, and today a helicopter from the air came to help.

It is suspected that the arson is intentional, and a 28-year-old suspected of being the perpetrator was in handcuffs.

Balla stated that currently, except Fier, there is also a difficult fire situation in Vlora. He said he would seek an exemplar punishment for anyone who sets fires.

"We are following the fire situation in some districts of Albania. In addition to the current situation, where I am currently in the NSA, we have a very difficult situation in the Vlora.
