The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, was asked if there is a rift between him and the leader of the Liberal Party, Ilir Meta, after the latter warned that he would run under his own slogan in the local elections.

In response during the press conference, Berisha said that 'for the other elections, each political force makes its own choices'.

"Ilir Meta is a political prisoner. ASHM was an alliance for the May 11 elections."

Ilir Meta is a political prisoner. For the Democratic Party and the Alliance for a Greater Albania he is a political prisoner. This is our opinion.
