The Minister of the Interior , Taulant Balla,  has taken stock of his first 100 days in this position, where he says that today has no comparison with the past .

Taulant Balla says that upon taking the post "I did not act like some of my honorable predecessors in this task, starting the work with the change of managers and bosses".

He emphasizes that the results achieved in these 100 days are just the beginning of a new and systematic approach, adding that "success in this public task is impossible without creating a team spirit in the effort to meet the objectives in this challenging sector" .

"Who will not run at the same pace, who will not respect the law and the ethical code, who will not show the willingness to go beyond themselves, increasing the contribution to the common cause, will find it impossible to stay in the position he has" , says minister Balla.

From the first day as Minister of the Interior, I understood that success in this public task is impossible without creating a team spirit in the effort to fulfill the objectives in this challenging sector.

I have shaken hands with a large part of the troops and I will continue to meet and listen attentively to every member of this troop.

Because I respect them for their knowledge, experience, professionalism. I have stood by and will stand by my commitment to give each and every one the opportunity to develop their abilities to do the best together.

As you have seen, I did not act like some of my honorable predecessors in this task, starting the work with the change of managers and bosses.

I have stood by the conviction and standard that I, the Minister of the Interior, have the great honor to be in this responsibility to lead them, listening to them, supporting them, learning from them and going down to every level of the activity of this ministry, in every office and police station, from Vermoshi to Konispol.

The results achieved together in these 100 days are just the beginning of a new and systematic approach.

While Albania has concluded the most successful tourist season in terms of the number of visitors and the quality of public security, the State Police is committed every day to guarantee safe schools, communities, roads, summits or international events.

Today has no comparison with the past and day by day the restoration of trust in the State Police is advancing in a visible and indisputable way.

But the future will not be compared to today and I have the great honor, the trust of the Prime Minister, the majority of the Assembly and I hope the majority of Albanians to continue building the right trust in the State Police even faster, improving anything, in any direction.

The process of self-cleaning of the State Police has entered a new phase and the first results are only a good start, which we all expect. Who will not run at the same pace, who will not respect the law and the ethical code, who will not show the willingness to go beyond themselves, increasing the contribution to the common cause, will find it impossible to stay in the position having.

I hope that with God's help and with your cooperation and support, we will be the great force of further change, which Albanians want and deserve from us.
