The famous singer is found guilty of sexual abuse of minors

R. Kelly has been found guilty of child sexual abuse in a second federal trial.

The jury convicted the 55-year-old on 6 of 13 charges. The singer was indicted in the city of Chicago on 13 counts — including soliciting minors for sex and tampering with his 2008 child sex abuse trial.

The singer, full name Robert Sylvester Kelly, was found guilty of luring underage girls to have sex with him, but not guilty of obstruction of justice charges. The jury reached its verdict Tuesday after hearing weeks of testimony and watching portions of an explicit video of the singer with an accuser when he was 14.

Kelly has already been convicted in New York of racketeering and sex trafficking and was sentenced in June to 30 years in federal prison. Two other trials are pending; one in Minnesota and another in state court in Chicago.
