As all the children in the world started the new school season, a group of students in the Bronx received a special surprise from the rapper Cardi B. The 29-year-old recently visited the Morris Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn, where she also attended elementary school.

The rapper surprised the students of the school as he announced that he will donate 100 thousand dollars to their school. Reflecting on her time at that school, Cardi said that “a lot of the teachers were tough on me. I was like a naughty child, but very special to many of these teachers and I still hold them in my heart".

Although her appearance at the Bronx school was planned, the $100,000 donation surprised even the New York City Department of Education.

Schools Chancellor David Banks, during a statement to the media, expressed his gratitude for the rapper's generous contribution, adding that this contribution will help the school's children move forward.
