Physical violence was recorded in a reality show, "It's my hone" in Kosovo. The contestants had a strong debate with high tones, after which one of them shot a girl with a shoe, who started to cry in fear.
What makes this scene even more difficult is that one of the girls says "well done, well done", forgetting that they are on the screen and that they are promoting violence which is a "wound" in society both in Kosovo and in Albania.
Journalist Vehbi Katjazi also reacted to this event. Through a post on Twitter, he called for the license of the media that has this show to be revoked, as he described such a scandalous and anti-human act.
" Where is the Independent Media Commission?" Why is live violence allowed on TV, no matter how peripheral that Television is? This is scandalous, anti-human, bizarre and filthy. It should be stopped immediately and the license of this worthless television should be taken away. Hooray !", he writes. While commentators have requested that the Kosovo Police intervene in this event.
