Dua Lipa left Los Angeles "safely" amid the devastating fires.

The Albanian-born singer said it had been a "scary two days" and revealed that she was among those forced to evacuate from an area affected by the disaster, which has claimed 10 lives and burned thousands of homes in California.

Sharing a video of the Los Angeles skyline, she wrote on her Instagram Story: "Absolutely devastating and scary few days in Los Angeles. Thinking of all my friends and city folks who had to evacuate their homes. I will share some links for anyone who wants to help and donate to the shelters that are currently housing many displaced people."

Reassuring her fans, she added: "I'm safe and I made it out of town. Sending my love to everyone going through this incredibly difficult time. Stay safe and take care of each other."

The British-Albanian star went on to share links to various ways to donate, including evacuation and animal shelters, and information on how to help those affected.

Dua Lipa bought a property in Beverly Hills in 2020.

British rocker James Bourne is also among those forced to leave his Los Angeles home.

The Busted star went to "X" to document what he was witnessing, describing what appeared to be "explosions" in his path, before declaring: "Ok, I'm evacuating."

Take That star Mark Owen also had to leave his home after being woken by helicopters, "thick black smoke" and strong winds.

His wife, actress Emma Ferguson, told their online fans: "Thank you for all the messages. I can't quite understand what happened here, but we are safe. Hurricane-force winds and a lack of water have meant the fire has spread catastrophically quickly and taken with it much of our beloved area. Schools, homes, shops and stables are all gone," she said.
