Alfio has confessed in Big Brother his experience regarding the divorce from moderator Fatma Methasani.

Alfio said that the moment comes when you realize that the relationship has come to an end, adding that you are sorry when you break up, but you can't go back.

He also said that he believes in the saying 'soup is getting cold, don't eat it', thus confirming that he will not be getting back with the mother of his son.

"Despite the things that have happened, I have had the best days of my life. It doesn't matter who ran away. There comes a moment when you say 'ok, I will break up with this person', you express it to your family, society, and there comes a moment when you actually break up. You feel bad, but you don't come back. There's no way to go back, but it's not about selfishness.

I believe in that expression; 'the soup is getting cold, heat it as much as you like, it is no longer edible'. Now I'm over it", said Alfio, while adding that great love is not forgotten by connecting with someone else, but by giving time to yourself.
