The Kosovo Assembly has approved in first reading the draft law proposed by the Democratic Party of Kosovo to amend and supplement the Law on Specialized Chambers and the Specialized Prosecutor's Office.

The bill was approved with 91 votes in favor, none against, and no abstentions.

The PDK initiative had previously passed through the Legislation Committee, which had supported the draft law in principle with a unanimous vote.

The proposed amendments relate to the Law on Specialist Chambers and the Specialist Prosecutor's Office in The Hague.
