Fire at a flat in Fushë Kosovë, 16 people end up in hospital

Kosovo police have released details regarding the fire that engulfed a flat in Fushe - Kosovo on Friday.

As a result of the smoke, 12 citizens, two police officers and two firefighters have been taken to hospital for medical treatment.

"It is reported that for unknown reasons from the fire, the property of the Kosovo male victim is located on the 5th floor of the apartment building. All relevant police units, firefighters who put out the fire, fire expert and auto ambulance have come out at the scene.

As a result of the fire, some residents were evacuated from the residential building, while as a result of the smoke, 12 citizens, two police officers and two firefighters received medical treatment, where three of the citizens were also sent to QKUK and after treatment were released" the announcement reads.

The case was announced by the prosecutor who has already started the investigation.
