A US submarine sank an Iranian frigate off the coast of Sri Lanka.

The US Department of War released a video document of the moment the submarine targets and torpedoes the Iranian frigate:

Sri Lankan authorities have announced that they have rescued 32 people who were on the ship and recovered several bodies from the sea.

Sri Lankan navy and defense ministry sources said the ship, which had a crew of 180, was attacked by a submarine and about 140 people are missing after the incident off the country's coast in the Indian Ocean.

The frigate was returning from an exercise to which it had been invited by India.
