VIDEO/ Chaos in the Serbian Parliament, opposition message Vucic: We will not

The special session in the Assembly of Serbia, where Kosovo is being discussed, is followed by verbal and physical clashes between the opposition MPs and the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic.

In this session, Vucic spoke about the European - or Franco-German - plan for the normalization of relations with Kosovo, while the opposition described this plan as "capitulation for Serbia".

During the session, the opposition MPs chanted slogans such as "Treason", "Kosovo is the heart of Serbia" and "We will not give up Kosovo". They also carried placards with the inscription "No capitulation".

At the start of the debate, Vucic said that "today's goal is not to transfer the responsibility to this institution or to the people".

"The goal is to appear in front of you and the citizens and honestly and openly share what awaits us and what we are facing," said Vucic in the Assembly.

On February 2, the Serbian Assembly is debating the report of the Government in Belgrade regarding the negotiations with Kosovo. Representatives of the Serbian List, the main party of the Serbs in Kosovo, were also present at the session on Kosovo in the Assembly of Serbia, writes REL.
