US President Donald Trump warns Hamas to "act quickly, otherwise any deal falls apart." The reaction comes at a time when Hamas has declared that it will release all Israeli hostages still held in Gaza.

"I appreciate the fact that Israel has temporarily stopped bombing to allow for the release of hostages and the reaching of a peace agreement. Hamas must move quickly, otherwise any deal falls apart," the US president said in a post on Truth Social.

"I will not tolerate delays, which many believe will occur, or any outcome where Gaza is once again a threat. Let's get this over with, FAST. Everyone will be treated fairly," Trump added.

The president's comments come after three separate airstrikes this morning on Gaza City, one of which caused one casualty and several injuries.

US President Donald Trump's 20-point peace plan stipulates that all 48 remaining hostages, of whom 20 are believed to be still alive, will be released by Hamas within 72 hours of accepting the deal.

Hamas has said it accepts the plan in principle and will release the hostages, but the group is seeking further negotiations on several key points.
