President Donald Trump has sent a stark message to Iranian protesters, vowing that "help is coming" and threatening the Tehran regime with dire consequences for its bloody suppression of the uprisings.

Through a reaction on the Truth Social network, Trump called on Iranian patriots not to stop, to take control of their institutions and to take note of the names of the violators, as according to him, they will pay a high price.

He also announced that he has canceled all meetings with Iranian officials until the senseless killing of citizens stops.

This harsh reaction comes at a critical moment, as human rights groups report that the regime is expected to execute a protester this Wednesday.

The situation in the country remains extremely tense, with reports of around 2,000 people killed during demonstrations that have swept the nation.

Due to this violence, Washington has asked all American citizens to leave Iran immediately.

Meanwhile, after a total communications blockade, Iranian authorities have somewhat eased the measures by allowing international calls, but control over the internet remains strict.
