Shocking in Italy/Model who was murdered 5 months ago, their coffin is opened

A serious and shocking development has come to light in the case of the murder of 29-year-old Pamela Genini in Milan, after unknown persons are suspected of desecrating her grave and taking her skull, five months after her death.

According to Italian media, the macabre discovery was made on Monday, March 30, by cemetery workers, who found that the coffin had been forced open and part of the body was missing. Authorities suspect that three to four people may have been involved in the act, while the motive remains unclear.

Investigations are ongoing and the case is being treated as desecration of a dead body and theft of a part of it, offenses that under Italian law are punishable by up to seven years in prison.

The incident brings to mind the brutal murder of the model in October 2025. The 29-year-old was found dead on the balcony of her apartment, stabbed more than 20 times. The main suspect in the crime is her former partner, 52-year-old businessman Gianluca Soncin.

According to the investigation, he allegedly stalked her and pressured her to get back together after their split. Authorities believe he entered her apartment using keys he still had in his possession.

Shortly before the attack, the victim had warned a friend about the fear she felt towards her ex-partner, while witnesses reported that she was heard calling for help during the moment of the attack.

After the incident, the suspect attempted to commit suicide by stabbing himself in the neck, but survived. He is in custody and faces charges of stalking and murder, while investigations into the desecration of the grave continue.
