Colombia backs down and says it will send the presidential plane to the US to "dignityfully" pick up dozens of illegal immigrants.
The development comes within two hours of US President Donald Trump declaring that he would impose heavy tariffs on Colombia after they refused to land two US fighter jets carrying dozens of deported illegal immigrants.
Trump then posted a photo of himself as a mafia "Don" while writing, "Try it if you can hold it."
It wasn't long before the Colombian Presidency announced that it would send the presidential plane to the US to pick up the migrants.
"President Petro Gustavo is providing a presidential plane for the dignified return of his fellow citizens and will lead the efforts at the Extraordinary Assembly of CELAC," the Colombian presidency announced.
