The French President, Emmanuel Macron, announced that together with the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, they will talk on June 1 with the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, and the Serbian President, Aleksandar Vučič.
Macron confirmed this meeting in a speech held at the GLOBSEC Conference in Bratislava. The meetings will be held separately, where the focus will be on the situation in the north of the country.
For the escalation of the situation in the north of Kosovo, the French president has put all the responsibility on the authorities in Pristina.
"The Kosovo authorities bear the responsibility for the tensions that have increased significantly since the Albanian presidents took office in the north of the country with a Serbian majority," declared Macron.
The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has traveled to Moldova where she will represent the Republic of Kosovo at the second summit of the European Political Community.
