Rocket launched by Revolutionary Guard

Iran's Revolutionary Guards announced that they attacked two US bases in Jordan overnight. In a statement, the Revolutionary Guards said it had carried out a joint operation with missiles and drones against the Al Azraq and King Hussein bases, claiming to have caused "serious damage."

According to Tehran, the operation was a response to the previous US raid on Larak Island in the Strait of Hormuz.

The Iranian military also said it attacked a base in the United Arab Emirates where American forces are stationed.

According to a statement broadcast on state television, the Revolutionary Guards used dozens of attack drones to target areas of the Al Minhad base, where US helicopters and troops are said to be stationed.
