Radio Television of Serbia claims that "a group of masked Albanians" attacked members of the Serbian Army today at around 3:00 PM in the area of ??the "Debela Glava" base, which is located in the municipality of Bujanovac near the border between Kosovo and Serbia.
Serbia's Public Media Service, citing "unofficial sources," reported that a group of armed Albanians at the foot of the hill fired 15 shots at members of the Serbian Armed Forces, hitting a nearby dog. The attackers then fled towards Kosovo in six jeeps, RTS said.
The "Debela Glava" base is located in the Ground Safety Zone (GS) between Serbia and Kosovo, which was established by United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 and the 1999 Military Technical Agreement, on an area of ??1,471 square kilometers.
