Putin: The outdated model of the unipolar world is collapsing. The new order is

Vladimir Putin declares that the outdated system of a unipolar world is over and the new world order is replacing it with momentum.

Speaking at an eastern economic forum, including Russia and Asia's largest economies, the Kremlin chief said the time has come for every people to choose their own sovereign development path.

"The outdated unipolar model is being replaced by a new world order, based on the fundamental principles of justice and equality, recognition of the right of every state and the people to choose its sovereign path of development. It is in the Asia-Pacific region that powerful political and economic centres are being formed, which act as the driving force of this irreversible process," he says.

Putin stated that it is a pleasure to see how it is strengthening and gaining momentum, direct bilateral co-operation between Asia-Pacific states, as well as their co-operation under influential unions such as the Eurasian Economic Community, SCO, BRICS, UAE, ATHENS.
