The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, rejects a possible meeting with her counterpart from Serbia, Aleksandër Vucic, during the European Political Community summit that is being held in Spain.
She requested that sanctions be first imposed on Serbia to condemn the armed aggression of September 24.
" It was an attack ordered by the leaders in Serbia. Spain is a country that has contributed to peace and stability throughout the European continent.
I hope they understand that supporting an aggressor country, which there is clear evidence linking to the September 24 event, will not help peace and stability.
Therefore, I hope that Spain will join other like-minded countries in Europe to take measures against Serbia for this terrible act that it has committed, not only against Kosovo, but also against peace and stability in the entire European continent... we do not we have confirmed meetings separately, but I'm sure we'll get the chance, since at this event most of the discussions take place when we're all in the same room, so I hope we'll get the chance to discuss this.
I have no reason to meet him before sanctions are imposed on Vucic.
Sanctions first and then we can talk about others ", Osmani said.
