Iranian General Mohammad Reza Naqdi has harshly attacked US President Donald Trump, questioning the seriousness and consistency of his statements.

In his statement, Naqdi described Trump as an "extremely short-sighted and childish" president, arguing that he lacks a long-term vision and does not think about the consequences of his statements.

"When he says something, he doesn't even think about what will happen 24 hours later," the Iranian general said.

Naqdi went even further in his criticism, saying that the American president's statements have no basis or sustainability.

"I trust a taxi driver much more than I trust him. Don't take what he says too seriously," he declared.
