The director of the Department of Forensic Laboratories at the Institute of Forensic Medicine, Agron Thaqi, said that Faton Hajrizi's body has already been identified by his family members.

"Last night around 1 o'clock, the dead body was received, which is that of Faton Hajrizi. We are declaring this after the order that was made by the prosecution, respectively by the responsible prosecutor. It was identified by the family members of the case in the admission of the attending physician", said Thaqi.

Thaqi said that according to the consultations at the institute, a three-member commission was formed to perform the autopsy, consisting of forensic experts.

He said that after the autopsy, the body will be handed over to the family members.

"Actually, due to the sensitivity of the case and the circumstances, in consultation with the general director, we have formed a three-member commission of forensic experts, who will perform the autopsy that will begin around 1:00 p.m. in the presence of the prosecutor and family members. The autopsy report is pending, the dead body will be handed over to the family after the autopsy," he said.
