The conflict between Israel and Hamas terrorists and their supporters seems to have already spread not only on the ground but also on social networks.

On Twitter, where Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei has his account and posts frequently, he shared a message in support of Hamas terrorists, accusing "Zionism" of crimes against Palestinians.

In a message he says:

"The leaders of the Zionist regime and their supporters must know that the massacre and mass killing of the people of Gaza will bring a greater calamity upon them," Khamenei wrote.

But the response was immediate from the official account of the State of Israel.

"It's easy to be brave when you're hiding behind a keyboard.

You and your Hamas friends will soon regret your barbaric actions," Israel's official Twitter page (X) wrote.

A clash of this level on Twitter is unusual.

Tensions between Iran and Israel have reached a fever pitch, as many Israeli officials have accused Iran of training and financing Hamas terrorists.
