Spectacular robbery in California, watch as a mob of thieves empty the jewelry store (VIDEO)

A gang of masked robbers carried out a coordinated and violent attack on Kim Hung Jewelry in East San Jose, California, on Friday afternoon. The incident occurred in broad daylight, when the perpetrators used a stolen SUV to ram the store's front window. Then, about 10 robbers, wearing black hoods and with their faces covered, entered the store with hammers and axes, quickly smashing the windows and taking jewelry and gold.

Security camera footage, which is now circulating widely online, shows the dramatic moment of the collision and robbery.


In a shocking scene, the 88-year-old shop owner was violently knocked to the ground by one of the robbers, who then stomped on him to continue the robbery. Family members have announced on social media that the elderly man was injured by glass and later suffered a stroke, but police have not yet confirmed his medical condition.

Kim Hung Jewelry is a family-owned business that has served the Vietnamese-American community in San Jose for decades. San Jose police have classified the incident as an armed robbery, confirming that one of the perpetrators was carrying a firearm.

The robbers fled in several vehicles and are still being sought. The value of the stolen items has not been made public.
