The chairman of the Social Democratic Initiative, Fatmir Limaj , has called for cooperation between political parties to avoid a government crisis after the elections.

In a television interview, he stated that he would respond to requests for a coalition for the good of the country.

"Whoever invites me to the table, I will sit down for national issues. What if a dysfunctional government comes to you, never. I will not enter a dysfunctional government. I will not rule out sitting down with the opposition either," he said.

Limaj stated that Kosovo urgently needs a stable government, taking into account recent international and regional developments.

According to him, the electoral process has concluded and now is the time for responsibility.

"We are small, the big ones have work to do to meet with each other. There is no certification of the results. The elections are over. Now Kosovo is in focus. I believe that after the process is over, we should sit down according to responsibility. The vote to celebrate is one night, but then it turns into responsibility. The next day, thousands of citizens expect concrete actions," he declared.

Limaj emphasized that the three main parties in the country have a great responsibility and must cooperate to form a stable government.

"There are three major parties that bear the main burden and must take concrete steps. We cannot allow a government crisis due to political resentments," he stressed.

The leader of the Social Democratic Initiative has declared that he will not make party calculations and that political decisions must be for the benefit of future generations.

"Every action a politician takes is for future generations. You will not see Fatmir Limaj calculating electorally," he concluded.
