The adhesive bandages that have been placed on the hands of US President Donald Trump have attracted media and public attention, fueling speculation about the possibility of a health problem. Recent photos of Trump from a public event he was attending showed his hand wrapped, and this detail has raised questions about his physical health.

In response to the speculation, White House spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt explained the situation by emphasizing that the president has had numerous contacts with people, greeting and shaking hands during official activities and meetings.

This, according to her, has caused irritation and fatigue in the president's hand, necessitating the use of bandages as a protective measure.

Leavitt stressed that there is no cause for concern and that the president continues to perform his duties without any hindrance. She added that the White House is committed to providing ongoing updates on the president's health. Trump, who is 79, underwent a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan in October. His doctor, Sean P. Barbabella, confirmed that the cardiovascular and abdominal images were "completely normal."
