Prime Minister Edi Rama ' made an example ' today of an unauthorized building, under construction in Vlora, by surrounding it with tape indicating confiscation and transfer to state ownership.
An operation followed before, where builders bought their palaces cheaply without permission, as was the case with the oligarch Salillari.
"Today, a quasi-palace in Vlora will be confiscated that is in violation of the building permit. This process aims to unite two things. We don't have a minute to waste," said Rama.
As soon as Prime Minister Edi Rama made the announcement at the meeting with the deputies of the Tirana district, the head of the IKMT, Dallëndyshe Bici, immediately appeared in Vlora.
She inspected the building under construction, where she stated that it violated the building permit.
Bici, which says that all entities that have violated or will violate the construction permit will have the same fate, namely confiscation.
But who was building the palace without a permit in Vlora and how is it possible that it was allowed by the municipality and the police?
The palace was being built by Erjon Amataj, former director of the Urban Planning Directorate in the Municipality of Vlora, when Dritan Leli was mayor.
Amataj has been indicted for fraud with construction permits in Vlora, and was even taken into custody by the Vlora Prosecutor's Office for construction permits in violation of the law after a complaint by Egon Velaj.
Erjon Amataj is behind the construction company Armear Konstruksion.
According to sources, Amataj had received guarantees from Mayor Ermal Dredha for the unauthorized construction.
It is not known whether Amataj paid Dredha or promised him an apartment like Mojsi Lazaj, who is wreaking havoc with unauthorized construction, has operated, but in Vlora there is talk that Dredha has also started charging monthly fees to kiosks and street vendors./ Prapaskena
