Prime Minister Edi Rama's car, members of the Republic Guard, the Rapid Intervention Forces (FNSH) and State Police forces are at the "Mother Teresa" International Airport in Rinas, awaiting the arrival of the head of government.

Rama is expected to arrive at around 1:00 PM from New York, where he was attending the United Nations General Assembly. Upon arrival, the Prime Minister is expected to address Albanians from the airport press room.

The content of the statement still remains unclear, while the prime minister's announcement of a direct communication has fueled speculation about the topic it will address.

According to a report by Top Channel journalist Muhamed Veliu, a government source who was with Rama in the US did not provide concrete details, but stated that the prime minister will take "a stance on the current situation."

One of the issues that could be part of the statement is the situation created after SPAK indicted former SHISH director Vlora Hyseni. The proceedings against her took place while Hyseni was abroad, at a time when Prime Minister Rama was also in the US.
