The government decided on Wednesday during the government meeting to grant a concession to the Vlora Triport. The news was announced by the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku. She said that this port will be integrated with some functions, as so far it has only fishing services.

“ Approval of the concession contract with the public-private partnership for the Vlora Triport. It will be the newest modern port, which will be an integrated port, as today it has only fishing services. " It is one of the best contracts we have signed ", said Balluku.

Balluku said that this funding is expected to be paid by the Albanian state only at the moment when the project will be completed and the first start of operation.

" From the income that the port itself will create, it will be the moment that the entire amount of this project will start to be paid. " Until then, the Albanian government will not have any financial obligations ", said Balluku.
