The President of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Elisabeta Katiaj, through a post on Facebook, has warned the hotel entrepreneurs instead of being fined.

The warning comes after ascertaining the increase of prices artificially by them on May 22-27, a period when the final of the Conference Leauge will be organized in Tirana.

After an observation regarding the prices of the rooms in the hotels of Tirana it was noticed that, in some of them the night cost up to 9000 euros.

"Dear Albanian Hotel Entrepreneurs.

Do not be surprised by the price increases for the final dates starting May 22-27.

It is very likely that a penal measure will be taken for you who decide to increase the prices precisely to benefit from the influx of visitors and fans.

Be content with the turnover and knowledge of new potential customers on these dates. If you leave good taste, many will come back.

(Hotels 35 eur night reporting 1600 eur night for 24-25 May).
