The Board of Transparency and Monitoring of Wholesale / Retail Trade Prices of basic food products and other related products in the next meeting, decided to approve the list of basic food products that will be monitored.
After analyzing the margins, the Transparency Board decided that these products should be offered to the household consumer in markets at prices not higher than:
109 ALL / kg for long grain rice (1 kg)
121 ALL / kg for sugar (1 kg)
381 ALL / liter for sunflower oil
79 lek / kg for mass flour
"This decision enters into force on 30.04.2022 and is mandatory for all entities that trade wholesale / retail products specified in this decision," said in the notice.
