Turkey has become the main country from which Albania imports more goods, thus replacing Italy, which has traditionally held this position. Russia, which until last year held the fourth position in terms of the origin of purchased goods, has dropped many positions, being replaced by Saudi Arabia or Serbia.

In itself, trade with Russia has shrunk significantly. As a result of the sanctions imposed by the European Union and the United States of America, Albania has imported much less goods from the "federation".

Imports from Ukraine have also suffered a significant decline. From the country involved in the war since February 24, more than 6,000 tons of goods have been purchased in 7 months, less than in the same period a year ago, while the "old continent" was at peace.
