The price of electricity and distribution fees will not change, although the return of bundled charging was an alternative discussed this year. The Energy Regulatory Authority, in the next meeting, is expected to leave in force the existing retail prices of electricity, as well as the fees paid for distribution, according to the decisions approved last year.
This means that family subscribers will continue to pay 9.5 ALL/kWh, without VAT or 11.4 ALL/kWh, with VAT.
As for the distribution fees, they are an integral part of the final energy price, as they increased last year, mainly affecting businesses in the liberalized market. For customers connected to the 35 KV voltage, the tariff went to 1.55 ALL/kWh, from 1.5 ALL/kWh that was before, while for subscribers connected to the 20, 10 and 6 KV voltage, the new tariff was set at 3.99 ALL/kWh from 3.9 ALL/kWh that was.
The electricity distribution fee for customers connected to the 0.4 KV voltage suffered the biggest increase, from 4.79 ALL/kWh to 6.42 ALL/kWh. Family subscribers are also part of this tension, but at that time the tariff did not impact the final price for this category, since the costs were borne by the Universal Service Provider, as it was the Distribution System Operator that realized more income.
