The euro continues to fall, the exchange rate falls to 110.7 ALL, marking a new record

Euro continues to fall. According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, the European currency is being exchanged for only 110.73 ALL.
This is the lowest level since the introduction of the euro in the domestic economy in 2002.

The Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Bank of Albania say that the fall of the euro is coming from objective causes such as the increase in foreign investments, tourism or remittances.

On the other hand, representatives from the business sector point the finger of blame at the increased informal money as a result of the May 14 local elections.
