DHTIT at the International Business Fair in Spain/ What Albanian entrepreneurs did

The international business and foreign trade fair "IMEX-Castilla y León", which this year was organized in Valladolid (Spain), served as an important meeting place between entrepreneurs aiming to grow internationally and experts in the relevant sectors for each country participant.

Among the economic and commercial representations from 30 countries, the Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry was also present, which, through the representative of the DHTIT office in Spain, Mr. Eduard Hyseni, accompanied by Mr. Juan Jose Gonzalez Saez, economic advisor of the representation of DHTIT, assisted companies interested in business expansion opportunities in Albania.

In order to better orient their investment plans, entrepreneurs were introduced by DHTIT representatives to the priority sectors for investments in Albania, the legal framework for investments, the business climate, facilitation procedures, support measures, etc.

One of the sectors with weight in foreign investments is also energy. Thanks to the favorable geographical position and climatic conditions, Albania has a considerable potential of renewable energy sources. Therefore, the interested companies were informed with the conditions and the presentation of Albania's potential in this field.

Also, at the IMEX-Castilla y León Business Internationalization Conference, various topics were addressed, from growth opportunities in foreign markets of SMEs, challenges of the agri-food sector in the international context, industrial sustainability, to trends in logistics and international financing.
