Food Safety Action/Taxes: We blocked 20 tons of goods in 3 days

The Tax Directorate reports that in 3 days of inspections, they have seized 20 tons of goods. 

"The action to formalize and improve food safety in the agricultural and livestock products market continues with intensity, by the structures of the Tax Administration and the Ministry of Agriculture.

The results of the first 3 days clearly show the need for the full formalization of this sector, as a guarantee of quality, food safety and consumer protection.

"We invite all taxpayers to comply with the law by issuing fiscal invoices at every link in the food chain, to ensure traceability and transparency from producer to consumer," Taxes announced.
