Other details are revealed regarding the explosive attack that shook Gjirokastra yesterday evening, where Beqir Devolli lost his life in hospital, while Erigers Mela was injured.

Sources from the investigation group told Top Channel journalist Entjola Budo that the explosion occurred by remote control and that the person who activated it followed the victim at a distance from Viroi, almost 3 km, to the site of the explosion.

The victim, known as "Çilo", drank coffee with his friend and then got into the car, where the explosion occurred.

 The victim was threatened with phone calls, along with passenger Erigers Mela, whose vehicle was burned last year as a warning. "Çilo" has been under "house arrest" for two years in Tirana.

The explosion in front of the police was well-planned, as the perpetrators waited for the road to clear before activating the explosives.

The investigation is also suspected of being linked to a possible connection with Artan Myrtaj, who was shot dead in Saranda two weeks ago.
