May 11 elections, first 600 votes from the diaspora arrive in Albania

Three days after the start of the distribution of ballots for emigrants, the first diaspora votes have arrived in Albania.

Ballot boxes are located in the Olympic Park in the capital and are monitored by security cameras.

The envelopes were received by the CEC, its chairman Ilirjan Celibashi and the two representatives of the SP and the DP.

The envelopes with the ballots will be selected if there is any damage and will then be divided according to the respective districts.

An electronic device will identify which state the envelope comes from and which district the ballot belongs to.

They will open on May 11 when the counting process begins in parallel with the vote within Albania.
