A minor knife injury is reported to have occurred in the city of Kavaja, after a fight over trivial reasons between two people.

According to unofficial police sources, the injured person was Artur Ligeja, 52 years old, who has a business in the area.

Meanwhile, the suspected perpetrator has been taken to the police for further action. 

Police announcement:

At around 10:00, in the city of Kavaja, at the place called "Agjensia", in the premises of a private business, it is suspected that during a conflict for weak motives, citizen EV, 42 years old, struck citizen AL, 52 years old, in the hand with a cutting tool, who suffered a minor injury.

The perpetrator then damaged the windows of the business owned by citizen AL, as well as the windows of another nearby business. Initial investigations suggest that the perpetrator is a drug user and has mental health problems.

He was escorted to the premises of the Police Station for further procedural actions. The procedural materials were referred to the Durrës Prosecutor's Office for further actions.
