The armed robbery of an Audi Q5 car in the summer of 2020 in Durrës has revealed an attempted assassination in exchange for 90 thousand euros. The arrested person Hamdi Skuqi has shown that he was ordered by a person to kill 2 people in the area of Nis Tulla, which according to investigators are suspected to be the brothers Dashamir and Nuredin Dumani. Skuqi, the vehicle owned by a Kosovo citizen, stole it together with his friend with the initials K. Ramazini.
Referring to the investigative file, it was Skuqi himself, who after his arrest also testified about receiving the order to carry out the assassination. He said that he received the order from a person named Gazi, where for 90 thousand euros he would execute two brothers, whose apartment was located in the area of St. Avlash, on Nish Tulla Street. In his testimony, Skuqi told the officers that he did not know the two brothers he was going to execute. He had only learned the exact dwelling where they lived and had seen in the picture his targets.
Sources suggest that from the collected data the objective of this assassination were the Dumani brothers, as they are residents of that area. From Skuqi's statements, it is indicated that the cause was a conflict for drug trafficking in the Netherlands between the customer and the 2 brothers. Referring to the investigative file, the person who ordered had given a prepayment of 1 thousand euros to Skuqi, as well as a Glock pistol to commit the murder. This file is separate from that of Nurdin Dumani, where it has uncovered dozens of criminal events in the country that took place in Durrës, Elbasan, Tirana and Fier. While it is still not possible to identify the person who two years ago, would pay 90 thousand euros for the elimination of the Dumani brothers./FaxNews
