At the Basic Court in Pristina, in the trial against Naim Murseli, Kushtrim Kokalla and Granit Plava , in the afternoon session, the accused Plava is giving his defense, who said that the murder was committed in agreement with Murseli, who had promised to get him out of prison after two years, claiming that he is a person with power.

Plava said that he does not stand by the statement given to the Police and that today he will tell the truth.

" The statement I gave was made under pressure from the police ," said Plava, adding that he made the statement according to the agreement he had with Mursel, and that he had notified the ambulance and given him an injection.

Responding to questions from his defense attorney, lawyer Skender Gojani, the accused Plava said that he had an agreement with Naim Murseli and that he was aware of the crime for which he is being accused today.

"He never told me who the person (who would kill him) was, and he only told me that you should take responsibility, nothing else. I didn't have to wait two years to get him out of prison, I know what power I have," said Plava.

According to him, Murseli told him that Behgjet Pacolli was also aware of this case, Kosovo media report.

"In Naimi's words, as Naimi told me, he told me that Behgjet Pacolli was also aware of this case, you know what power we have, he told me. There is no chance of him being in prison for more than two years," Plava said.

He claims that Murseli offered him a job, a salary of 1,300 euros, and a G-Class car.

He said that when he asked him who he would kill, Naim told him that he didn't need to know, just take responsibility.

Plava further says that he gave the statement to the police as he had agreed with Naim Murseli.

He said he knows the other two accused, Kokalla because they are from the same village, while he knows Murseli less.

The accused says that he met with Naim Murseli 7-8 times and that on the critical day they met precisely for this agreement.

According to him, the next day he realized that the person who killed him was Naim Murseli's wife.

"I'm sorry for what happened that day. He always said it's Serb or Bosnian, but you have to take responsibility," he said.

Initially, Plava said that he was in poor economic condition and that he was a manual laborer.
